Stillborn Hindu Rashtra, a Chimera

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attack on the twin towers of the Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon, President George Bush and PM Tony Blair of Great Britain challenged the world, they would now create their own realities and fight for it. They were waiting for it to declare. Narender Modi and AB Vajpayee were also worked up as if waiting for the whistle to blow. On September 18 2001 Narender Modi in a television debate conducted by Dileep Sirdesai, Wardha Rajan, etc Modi threw a surprise challenge. That the 9/11 attack was Islamic terrorism based on the Islamic text. He confronted  Dr. Rafik Zikaria by alleging that it is in the Islamic holy text that terrorism is justified. They jumped on the bandwagon of the US and UK.Sirdesai and Zakaria differed.Modi promptly arrived in Gujarat and took charge as Chief Minister. In just over four months he won the election on February 24, 2002. He threw another challenge by creating history by calling the fire on Sabarmati Express on February 27 2002 an incident of terrorism. This is despite the collector Jayanti Ravi calling it a fire accident on the train. Even the Railway Ministery appointed inquiry commission under a sitting judge found it a stove upturned that caused the accident where cooking rice had spread all around the compartment.

Since then the nightmare of Hindu Rashtra has assumed the genie who refuses to go back into the bottle. It climaxed in the night of February 22 2023 in the violent scene at the Delhi Civic Centre. India is breaking up at 75. The colonial rulers of India had rightly felt this to be the end result what with a most powerful group of Hindus of RSS and Hindu Mahasabha abstaining from the Independence struggle. Now they have the clout of majoritarian strength to undo the constitution of the country and go for a coup.

Therefore they are going to overthrow the government or else what is the scope of Hindu Rashtra? Neither Pakistan nor China can meddle in this. When a by-lane approach road is not sealed when Indian army soldiers pass the highway in Pulwama what is more tempting the BJP to do to win the election? There were 40 jawans killed and scores injured and whatnot? Modi used to travel Adani's private jet, then Adani is traveling in PM Modi's plane.

However, India is entering the dragon's cave not of Chinese make but of its own. Mahatma Gandhi had assured Dalits and other backward communities through Poona Act to remain in India. Today the scheduled tribes and Other Backward Communities have no patience left. They are now convinced that the stranglehold would kill them once and for all. The Constitution is at stake. There is no life without constitutional guarantees and reservations! RSS boss Mohan Bhagwat is reaching the end of prevarication. Everyone knows the common DNA is bogus and the Pandits created casts in Kashmir is an anathema. Now the endgame.
