Jashodaben Narendra Modi’s Ordeal: Celibacy as Hidnutva da Vinci code

True to its nature of a secretive and conspiratorial organization, the RSS has an arsenal of non conventional warfare weapons. Narendra Modi, chief minister of Haryana Mohan Lal Khattar and a host of others were leaders of various RSS function groups and were kept in the shadow and suddenly inducted into politics and chosen as chief ministers. During her teaching life she lived in a room that did not have a bathroom and so she would wash herself behind the bushes at the door yard around. After Modi became the chief minister a ring of guards watched her day and night and prevented reporters from meeting her. They chased out anyone who pried into her private life. Her students were also Muslims in large number. She taught them quite well and had photographed herself along with parents who also wore the white round caps that traditionally Muslims wear. Her husband did not wear that cap to oblige any Muslim for any social function or courtesy. All this he did to prepare himself to be a leader (pracharak) from the RSS to be inducted into politics. The intelligence agencies took upon themselves the task of providing Jashodaben security after Modi became the Prime Minister of the country. The police had not bothered for more than twelve years when he was the chief minister. There is no official record that Modi ordered either. As in most cases in pogroms or favouring pliant officers and punishing as revenge those who refused to toe his line of action he made no records. The records were destroyed after dilly dallying when asked to furnish them. Such cases run into thousands as he had ruled his state the way he liked and not the way the constitution of India required. Of course, he did not do his rajdharm even after being advised by no other than the PM AB Vajpayee or remonstrance of President KR Narayanan. After becoming PM and having achieved detente with President Barak Obama even records don’t count much. However, the hamartia or tragic flaw came from his domestic and private life. As it usually happens in a Greek tragedy. Jashodaben through RTI act asked about the security given to her. Her misgivings are a disaster for Modi in the words of his predecessor, Dr Manmohan Singh. Of course, Singh had warned that he would be a disaster for the country if elected. But the disaster is turning upon him as natural justice. Jashodaben wrote to the superintendent of police on November 24, 2014: “India’s Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was attacked and killed by her personal bodyguards, because of which we are very afraid of our bodyguards. So we want the complete information on the guards protecting us, and if they have a copy of the order under which they are deployed here. If they don’t have it, then on whose orders they don’t have it. We need a certified copy of that order with all these details”. Her instinct for apprehension of security of her own life is based on what the wives of Haren Pandya and Sanjiv Bhatt felt for the lives of their husbands. Or what Samir Khan Pathan’s mother felt or what Kauser Bil felt when the Gujarat police snatched Sohrabuddin Shaikh from her arms as she tried to save her husband in a true Indian culture. She would better die than give up her husband. Or what Mujahid Saleem’s relatives felt when Narender Amin of Gujarat police shot and killed the youth well within the police station of Hyderabad. Like what Qateel Siddiquy’s wife felt in what was going to happen to her husband imprisoned in the Dagduseth Halwai temple attack in Pune coinciding with German Bakery bombing February 13, 2012. There are innumerable other such cases. What is in the ethos of the rule of Modi in Gujarat that Bhatt’s wife was scared when she heard that her husband would be kept in the Gaikwad Haveli which houses the Crime Branch where DG Vanzara was in charge? After all Bhatt was in charge of state intelligence and also in charge of the security among other so many things, the security of the chief minister himself. Similarly why should Haren Pandya’s wife after failing to get any comfort from LK Advani about the murder of her husband travel to Visakhapatnam jail to meet the so called dreaded terrorists Asghar Ali who was found to be innocent and yet had spent nearly a decade in jail on false charges of killing Haren Pandya? Shakespeare’s character Polonius has the answer: by indirection find the direction out. In contrast her husband was neither a bachelor nor innocent like Christ. There are two instances of telltale one is Modi’s dehydration when Karan Thappar interviewed him and his order to snoop a beautiful woman during her trip to Bangalore hospital. Modi is also an extremist nationalist party member as Parnell of Irish nationalist party was. His affair with Kitty O’Shea led to his downfall and disgrace. Modi has still not broken his code.
